What’s my Background?
I’m a computer scientist by training and have an MBA in strategic management from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, Canada. I’m also Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance CSM) and a Certified NLP Trainer.
In the past, I worked on many innovative projects, such as joining one of the first projects to bring mobile technology to South America in the late 90’s, creating payment gateways connecting mobile companies to banks in Canada and developing international transaction systems in a major global bank in the early 2000’s. I’ve been involved in major M&As leading the consolidation of their products in the late 2000’s, working directly with transnational teams across the globe.
Also, I’ve advised managers from the technology, telecommunications, mining, logistics and education industries to regain control of their work, by helping them refocus their strategy and reorganize their strategic plans.
I’ve been in the trenches and fully understand what it takes to create innovative products. From brainstorming new concepts to deploying finished products to production, I’ve learned the hard lessons of successfully bringing new ideas to life.
